As part of Kpop Nonstop’s 10-year celebration, we’re happy to share a special video greeting from AleXa with you all.
The greeting followed an earlier collaboration with Sony Music Sweden, when AleXa visited our studio at Fryshuset for a surprise appearance and workshop with our dance students. That visit created a strong and memorable connection with our dancers, and the later video greeting felt like a natural continuation of that shared moment.
Kpop Nonstop began as a community-driven initiative 10 years ago. Since then, we have worked to strengthen K-pop and K-pop dance locally, create meeting points, and give young dancers the opportunity to grow, express themselves and take space. Over the years, we have shared a home with Danscenter at Fryshuset, and our community has continued to grow, reaching hundreds of students each term.
This greeting also reflects the kind of creative bridges Kpop Nonstop has continued to build over the years — between artists and audiences, between international K-pop culture and local community, and between inspiration and lived experience on the dance floor.
The video arrived during an especially exciting week, as AleXa was participating in Melodifestivalen 2026.
We’re happy to include this greeting as part of our 10-year celebration.
