On December 2, 2025, something unforgettable happened inside our Kpop Nonstop studios at Fryshuset. During what our dancers believed would be an ordinary evening of training, the atmosphere suddenly shifted. Some had begun to suspect that something was coming — but when AleXa stepped inside for a surprise visit together with Sony Music Sweden, the emotions were still overwhelming. The room filled with smiles, excitement and pure happiness.
AleXa, who has just been officially announced as a contestant in Melodifestivalen 2026 with her song “Tongue Tied,”and who won the American Song Contest 2022, met our students with warmth, humility and a spark that instantly filled the space. Phones dropped, hands covered mouths, and the energy shot through the room like electricity.

A Q&A Full of Insight and Inspiration
The evening began with an intimate Q&A where AleXa shared stories from her artistic journey — how she trained, what inspires her, her creative process, and what drives her as a performer. Our dance students listened with full focus, soaking in every word.
She also spoke briefly about preparing for Melodifestivalen 2026 and her excitement around performing “Tongue Tied”on one of Sweden’s biggest stages.

Reactions, Laughter & Shared Dance Moments
The surprise moment turned into a wave of joy as our students gathered around AleXa — laughing, asking questions and sharing their excitement about her upcoming Melodifestivalen debut with “Tongue Tied.”
Soon, the dance floor came alive.
AleXa led a short TikTok trend moment, followed by highlights from the choreography that helped her win American Song Contest 2022. The room felt electric as our dancers experienced those signature performance moves right beside her.

A Community Brought Together in Collaboration
This special evening was made possible through a collaboration between Sony Music Sweden and Kpop Nonstop — a joint effort that gave our dancers a truly extraordinary experience.
It was a moment shaped by shared trust, teamwork and a unified vision.
A Night to Remember
Before the evening ended, we gathered for group photos — first with a group of students from Level 2 and afterwards with our instructors. The joy captured in those images says more than words ever could.
It wasn’t just a surprise visit.
It was a celebration of community, creativity and the connection that music and dance can create.

To AleXa: thank you for sharing your energy, generosity and heart with our dancers — and for giving us a dance glimpse into your journey toward Melodifestivalen with “Tongue Tied.”
To Sony Music Sweden: thank you for collaborating with us to make this moment possible.
To our students: thank you for bringing your passion into the studio — always.
This night will stay with us for a long time. 🩷
