K-POP DANCE WORKSHOP AT KULTURKARNEVALSDAG IN MARIEHAMN

On March 14, 2026, Kpop Nonstop will take part in Kulturkarnevalsdag in Mariehamn, Åland – a creative cultural event organized by Kulturkarnevalen for young participants interested in exploring different forms of artistic expression.

During the day, participants between the ages of 13 and 19 will take part in various creative “labs”, where they can explore different art forms and collaborate with professional artists and instructors.

As part of the program, Kpop Nonstop dance instructor Helena Jonsson will lead a K-pop dance lab, introducing participants to the world of K-pop choreography. In the workshop, participants will learn a K-pop routine step by step while working with elements such as formation, expression and stage presence.

The workshop is open to all levels and offers young dancers the opportunity to experience the energy and creativity of K-pop dance while developing confidence and performance skills in a supportive environment.

For Kpop Nonstop, contributing to events like Kulturkarnevalsdag is an important opportunity to share Korean dance culture with young audiences and encourage creativity, collaboration and self-expression through dance. It is also an opportunity to introduce alternative ways of expression within the genre and to explore how choreography can be interpreted and adapted by different dancers.

Through workshops, performances and cultural collaborations, Kpop Nonstop continues to work with organizations and institutions across the Nordic region to bring K-pop dance to new communities and inspire the next generation of dancers.
