Kpop Nonstop at Stockholm Kulturfestival 2026
On August 12, Kpop Nonstop Dance Studio returned to Stockholm Kulturfestival for another day filled with K-pop, dance and community in the heart of Stockholm.
This marked our third year taking part in the festival. Our first year brought us to Kungsträdgården, and for the past two years we have had the opportunity to bring K-pop to Sergels torg, inviting the public to experience the energy and community surrounding K-pop dance.
This year’s program featured performances by V!SION, ANGELIX and ZAENIX, a K-pop dance workshop led by Kpop Nonstop Dance Instructor Dina Andreasson, and a Random Dance Play co-hosted by Kpop Nonstop and V!SION.
K-pop Takes Over Sergels torg
The afternoon began with performances from three K-pop cover groups: V!SION, ANGELIX and ZAENIX.
V!SION, ANGELIX and ZAENIX all have a special connection to Kpop Nonstop. Many of their members are current or former KNS dance students, with some having danced with us for several years.
For us, it is especially meaningful to see dancers who have been part of our studio continue to grow, develop their skills, form their own cover groups and take their passion for K-pop dance further.
This is something we truly value at KNS. Our goal is not only to help our students develop as dancers, but also to create a space where they can build confidence, meet others who share their interests and be inspired to create something of their own.
Seeing V!SION, ANGELIX and ZAENIX performing on the Stockholm Kulturfestival stage was therefore extra special for us. 💗
K-pop Dance Workshop with Dina
After the performances, the program continued with a K-pop dance workshop led by Kpop Nonstop Dance Instructor Dina Andreasson.
The workshop invited visitors to step in, learn choreography and experience K-pop dance together at Sergels torg.
Creating opportunities where people can join in regardless of previous experience is an important part of what we do. For some participants, it may be their first time trying K-pop dance, while others already know the feeling of learning and dancing choreography together.
It was wonderful to see so many people joining Dina and sharing the dance floor with us before the final part of the day’s program.
KNS × V!SION Random Dance Play
After the dance workshop, it was time for one of the highlights of the afternoon: Random Dance Play.
This year, Kpop Nonstop collaborated with V!SION to co-host the Random Dance Play, bringing together K-pop fans and dancers at Sergels torg for an hour filled with music, choreography and energy.
Our connection with V!SION made the collaboration particularly meaningful. Many of the group’s members are students at Kpop Nonstop Dance Studio, and several of them have been dancing with us for many years.
Songs from different K-pop artists filled Sergels torg as dancers jumped in whenever they recognized a choreography. Some joined for one song, others returned to the dance floor again and again, while the crowd surrounding them cheered them on.
Random Dance Play has become an important part of K-pop community culture because everyone can participate. You don’t need to belong to a particular group or be performing on stage. If you recognize the choreography, you can simply step in and dance.
For us, it represents so much of what we love about K-pop: music, dance, excitement and people coming together through a shared interest.

More Than Dance
At Kpop Nonstop, dance has always been about more than learning choreography.
Since 2012, we have worked to create a place where people who love K-pop and dance can meet others with the same interests, develop their skills and feel part of a community.
For us, it is important that everyone has the opportunity to find a place where they belong.
Events such as Stockholm Kulturfestival allow us to bring that community outside the studio and create meeting places where even more people can discover K-pop dance, participate and connect with others.
