Kpop Nonstop at Kpop SM 2026 – stage energy, community, and Sweden’s K-pop cover dance scene
Kpop SM at NärCon Winter brings together K-pop cover dance groups from across Sweden each year. The contest serves as a meeting place where dancers share their passion, develop their stage expression, and connect through a community where choreography, musicality, and storytelling take center stage.
This year, Kpop Nonstop returns as an official partner of Kpop SM 2026, organized by NärCon.
Our dance instructors Cherie and Josefin return for the second year in a row as part of the judging panel, joined by Millian, who is serving on the panel for the first time. Together, they represent experience, pedagogy, and a deep understanding of K-pop choreography, stage presence, and performance expression.
The panel contributes perspectives on technique, musicality, stage expression, and overall performance — while sharing the respect and love for the stage that defines the K-pop community.
The final takes place on February 21 during NärCon Winter, when Sweden’s representative for the NärCon K-pop Championship (NCK) will be selected — a moment celebrating performance, dedication, and K-pop talent from across the country.
We look forward to experiencing Sweden’s K-pop cover dance groups give their all on stage and to the energy and community that continue to make this scene so vibrant.
A stage filled with passion and identity
This year’s competition presents a strong lineup of K-pop cover dance groups from across Sweden. Each group brings its own style, background, and drive — united by a shared love for dance and performance.
Nochi Squad from Gothenburg is an established group rooted in both K-pop and J-pop. They have performed alongside Japanese artists and placed in several competitions, making them an experienced presence on stage.
Stockholm-based Siren is a newly formed group from autumn 2025. United by their love for dance and K-pop, they aim to deliver a performance that reflects both energy and ambition.
Reverie describes their journey as a daydream turned reality — a community built on growth, determination, and passion for the expressive power of K-pop.
From Örebro, Project Intensity brings a background in cosplay and J-pop dance, now shifting their focus toward K-pop with the goal of delivering explosive energy on stage.
Froztbite, connected to the Laisings dance school, combines technical precision with personal style in their interpretations of iconic choreographies.
From Umeå, RChaos joins as an established group that has performed on stages such as Comic Con and competed in Nordic events. They are driven by their love of performing together and showcasing their hard work.
The younger generation is represented by UN1QUE, whose members share a passion for dance and the ambition to deliver an energetic and memorable performance.
Glowix Dance Crew from Gottsunda, Uppsala, lives for energy, dance joy, and K-pop. Their goal is for the audience to feel the pulse and excitement in every movement.
The trio 3nity from southern Sweden steps into the competition scene aiming to take their dance to the next level and claim their place on stage together.
From Gothenburg, we also see Blaze, a group built on friendship and community. After previous competition experiences, they return with even greater drive and stage presence.
Together, this year’s lineup reflects the diversity, creativity, and continued evolution of Sweden’s K-pop cover dance scene.
More than a competition
Kpop SM is not only about rankings. It is a space where dancers meet, inspire one another, and continue building the culture and community that K-pop fosters worldwide.
For Kpop Nonstop, supporting and highlighting this growing scene is a natural part of our mission. Being part of this context — and witnessing new generations of dancers step into the spotlight — is both inspiring and meaningful.
The stage is set. The energy is high. And the future of K-pop dance in Sweden continues to shine.

Kpop SM under NärCon Winter samlar varje år K-pop cover dance-grupper från hela Sverige. Tävlingen fungerar som en mötesplats där dansare delar sin passion, utvecklar sitt scenuttryck och möts i en gemenskap där koreografi, musikalitet och storytelling står i centrum.
I år återvänder Kpop Nonstop som officiell partner till Kpop SM 2026, arrangerat av NärCon.
Våra dansinstruktörer Cherie och Josefin är tillbaka som en del av jurypanelen för andra året i rad, tillsammans med Millian, som gör sitt första år i panelen. Tillsammans representerar de erfarenhet, pedagogik och en djup förståelse för K-pop-koreografins uttryck och sceniska närvaro.
Panelens uppgift är att bidra med perspektiv kring teknik, musikalitet, scenuttryck och helhetsintryck — samtidigt som de delar den respekt och kärlek till scenen som genomsyrar hela K-pop-communityt.
Finalen äger rum den 21 februari under NärCon Winter, där Sveriges representant till NärCon K-pop Championship (NCK) utses — ett ögonblick som firar prestation, dedikation och K-pop-talang från hela landet.

Från Göteborg ser vi även Blaze, en grupp byggd på vänskap och gemenskap. Efter tidigare tävlingserfarenheter återvänder de med ännu större driv och scenlust.
Tillsammans speglar årets lineup bredden, kreativiteten och utvecklingen inom Sveriges K-pop cover dance-scen.
Mer än en tävling
Kpop SM handlar inte enbart om placeringar. Det är en plats där dansare möts, inspirerar varandra och bygger vidare på den kultur och gemenskap som K-pop skapar världen över.
För Kpop Nonstop är det en självklar del av vårt uppdrag att stödja och synliggöra denna växande scen. Att få vara en del av sammanhanget — och se nya generationer dansare ta plats — är både inspirerande och betydelsefullt.
Scenen är redo. Energin är hög. Och framtiden för K-pop dance i Sverige fortsätter att lysa starkt.
