Spring kick-off of the K-pop Symposium at Uppsala University 23 April
We’re excited to be part of the K-popology symposium hosted by the Department of Musicology at Uppsala University and the Korean Cultural Center Sweden, with our session taking place next week on Wednesday, April 23.
We’ll be giving a lecture on the history and evolution of K-pop choreography, followed by a dance workshop open to all curious minds. It’s inspiring to see how deeply K-pop is being studied at an academic level – and how this genre continues to shape the future of music.
This session also marks the spring kick-off of the K-pop Symposium, which will officially continue on June 8 at Uppsala University. We’re happy to be part of this journey!

Note: This session was originally planned only for the students enrolled in the university’s “Musikhistorisk fördjupningskurs: K-pop, VT 2025” course. No age restrictions.
